Attention Middle and High School Teachers!

Give your students a chance to demonstrate their knowledge of personal finance in a fun and rewarding way!  The Kansas Personal Finance Challenge begins with an online competition and concludes with an in-person state competition for top online teams.  NO PARTICIPATION FEES!  It's free!

NO COST TO KANSAS SCHOOLS

Teacher registration is available online now!

 

Testing Window: preliminary online tests must be completed between March 24 to April 7

Each student on your team individually completes a 30-question test. 
All team members must complete the test within 3 hours.

Test Results are kept confidential

 

April 21, 2010 (Wednesday) - State in-person competition

for top online high school and middle school teams -
located at Wichita State University in the Rhatigan Student Center Ballroom

 

May 20, 2010 - National in-person competition for High School division only -

located at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City

(funding provided for hotel & travel)

 

Top teams from the online competitions will be invited to compete in an in-person competition to determine the Kansas Champions in the middle & high school divisions. An unlimited number of teams may participate in the online competition; however, a maximum of two teams per school will be invited to advance to the state in-person competition. Each school will be able to select which 2 of its qualifying teams will compete at state.

 

NEW for 2010 - Middle School teams can now compete!

 

NEW for 2010 - Kansas Champions from the High School Division will go on to represent Kansas at a Mid Regions National Competition.  Hotel will be provided and team will receive funding for transportation.
